I am seeing if anyone has an ideas for help for my parents. My husband and I have used up all of our savings helping my parents. My mom had really bad teeth and needed dentures. I had no idea it would cost around $6000. We used our savings to pay for her teeth. My mom has Crohn's disease and is not able to work a job where she can't run to the restroom. My parents have been working for themselves for the last 35 years selling food at craft shows. Their income is difficult to show. They are in their 60s, but not old enough to retire or get any benefits. The last 5 years it has gotten to the point that they are not physically able to work like they have been and the economy has made it very difficult. They are now living in a 1977 25ft motorhome. It is falling apart, literally. They are in great need of a better motorhome. The one that they have now has over 150,000 miles. My dad has tried to keep fixing it, but they really can't afford to keep putting money into it. My husband and I want to help, but we aren't able to get a loan for them due to our financial obligations. Does anyone know of any resources for couples like my parents?
